Scarred

This chicken has been scarred and traumatized by his endless unrelenting war. His eye is empty and he can no longer even focus on what's in front of him. He is in an endless trance staring forward as he waits to die.

    He may be miserable and hopeless, but he will die a warrior, and that is a great honour for any chicken, surely.

    That poor poor chicken, probably sent off to war too young and he now has no hope of ever acclimating to a world at peace.
