Why do you have an MS Paint chicken blog?
But then while chitchatting in a chat room someone noticed my avatar of a chicken and said "Did you make that chicken?" and after a while I was drawing him some chickens and well, by the end of it all I liked doing it. But then I never saw the fellow again, but the inspiration was there. I just charged blindly with it.
Yeah, but... why a chicken blog?
Because I like to doodle.
That's the MS Paint part covered, but what about the chickens?
Because I felt like it would help me stand out. Anyways chickens are understood by the internet to be... ... ... awesome!
And why a blog?
Back when I was younger you could make a crappy geocities site or something and it was cool, but these days nobody takes a website seriously unless it's full of fancy flash interfaces and nonsense like that. So there were blogs. They were like websites but you didn't need a fancy interface and you could just ramble together some posts.

Average time to draw each chicken?
I'd say it takes me 20-30 minutes to make a chicken, from the time I start drawing it to the time I finish it. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Often though I get about half way through drawing one that I decide just isn't good enough and start over again with the same concept.
How do you decide what color to do each chicken? Don't you ever get tired of using brown and red?
I go by guts. It's whatever color I think feels right after I try a few of them. And I use white sometimes. Every once in a while I go wild and use some other color, like say purple.
If you had a pet chicken, what would you name it?
I don't know. I'm not very good with names for things. But given that when I want my cat I tend to call "CAT!" Admittedly my Cat's name is Morgan, so... I don't know.
