Something New

On this site we need to keep things fresh, so I'm trying one more fresh thing to close out the month. What do you guys think of this look? I was a bit unsure of the look so I'd like some feedback.

Also. I wanted to slide one last one out at the end of the month.

In Front Of A Shop

I have in the past been criticized for my lack of backgrounds. Well to that I say... Look at these chickens. They're In Front Of A Shop. What do you have to say to that?

Ahem. I take my criticisms head on...

Thick Scrawl

I decided to thicken out some lines, and draw with a single thick scrawl. Then I colored it with a looser scrawl. I actually just colored it more thickly first, but it looked like I just dumped it so I decided to change it up a bit. You know, for classiness.

Sidelong

The chicken gives a sidelong glance as he worries about who might be looking at him. He never suspects that the internet has it's eyes on him.

Helmet

The Art of War has been described many times over the centuries. There is one key points that really go without saying. Keep Your Helmet On. It could save your life.

Sound Me

Alright everybody. I'm putting out a call. I need sound clips of people saying "Chicken Maker" for something. So if you're willing send me a voice clip at the email, or in a comment here. Don't send me any viruses.

Not Parasite

The colonel was attacked by a blue mass. The remainder of his unit fled, leaving him for dead. But it didn't kill him, it spread over him, piercing through his flesh. He rose back up to stand for another fight. This parasite was not a parasite. It made him stronger and faster. He didn't know if his unit would accept him when he returned but what else could he do?

Real Brown

Brown is a man with a mission. Until his own problem is settled he can't stop and roost, but no one he crosses paths with will have problems like his. He settles someone else's problem about once a week.

Colorful Grit

The grit of today has a lot more color than the grit of yesteryear. Black and white is the past. As are bright colors. Modern colors are dull and brown, but we just aren't ready for that step yet. These are just darker colors. Next up is said realistic browns.

Buff

Buff is a color that chickens can be. It's a pale brownish yellow. Always thought it was a strange term. About the color of buffed leather apparently.

Buff is also a video game term for the opposite of a nerf, also temporary stat boosts.

Pointer

This one is rather... standard. That, in and of itself, lets it stand out from the other pieces posted today. Being normal isn't really all that normal at all. That's a pointer for all you guys.

Heavy Thickness

This is a squishier drawing for the standards I generally hold to. I hope you can enjoy it in spite of that. In fact I rather like it all in all. I think the brown outline gives it some character it really needs. Something to let it stand out in a crowd.

Emboss

This is an embossed impression. What is it of? I have absolutely no idea. Maybe one of you can figure it out and tell me.

Fall Back Lavender Eyes

His lavender eyes show as they call for him to fall back. He rears up and stands tall!

Short Strokes

When this site starts to stop trying new things it will have no purpose, so with that in mind I have decided to create this piece using a much more arbitrary method. It was an experiment, and I think it came out pretty well.

Side Glance

I revive, and as usual that comes with several pictures... Back to back. As I draw them to make up for my absence. This guy's huge wattle kinda bothers me now that it's uploaded.

Real Dice Roll!

Exactly one year ago I designed and posted the Chicken Rolls dice game. And when I did I declared that I would make physical dice with the design... And now I have. It turns out none of the local shops sell blank dice so I ended up not getting any until I went to a convention yesterday. I suppose I could have ordered online, but in the end it's done so here it is.
