Experience - April 2021 Wallpaper

Today I want you to EXPERIENCE this piece. Look at the colors. Feel the the pattern. Flat, checkered. We're doing it all in an irregular flow. Today I want you to experience ChickenMaker.Net

I wasn't sure where I was going when I started this and looking at it now I'm still kind of confused, but I'm happy with it and I think I'll enjoy it when I see it later on. That goes for both this wallpaper and this website.

Thank you to my Patreon supporters, who make these monthly wallpapers... possible? This doesn't really cost me anything. The supporters just make me feel a bit more enthusiatic.

Preparing for Destiny

This bird looks forward. The road before it was nothing but its unavoidable fate. Why else would it do what had to be done?

Bang

The barrel of the gun pressed against the back of the anxious bird's head. Was this truly the end? Was there no hope? The lights go dark and the scene fades. All you hear is a bang. The credits roll. Tune in next week.

But probably not actually? I don't think this will get any sort of follow up.

Full Body

This bird stands tall from talon to comb. These slightly different proportions, along with the rare appearance of the chicken feet lets this piece stand out a bit among the countless other chickens on the site.

It's pretty standard without a funny hat or tragic backstory so that's the best it can manage.

Tall Bird

"Cock-a-doodle-doo" said Chicken B. The Sun rudely scoffed in response, but wanted to hear the rest of the thought. After a dispute the chicken looked away, recalling that you shouldn't make eye contact with the sun. "Cluck."

Simple Monocolor Character

I'm going to make a short comic or something. I want a simple main character so here he is. He'll probably change colors, but always in a single solid color. It will probably be some silly gag comic with a title like chick[non]sequitur

Stroke Of Color

Distinct lines make up the shape of a chicken's head. Color is added to make the form more clear. The angle of the beak shows a small departure from the standard form, leaning into a more cartoony look.

Rabbit Eggs

What kid of rabbit lays eggs? It's a question asked by the cynical youth every Easter season and I think this is the answer. A pastel chicken with bunny ears.

Brown

Today's piece is brown. Consider the following: Wood, Chocolate, Dirt, Toast. These things are all more-or-less brown, even the toast.

Recipe: Frozen Nuggets

While most people have had them frozen chicken nuggets tend to get a bad reputation, largely due to their texture. By following this simple recipe you can get crispy and delicious nuggets every time.

First you'll need the following ingredients:
1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
4-8 nuggets, per your preference
Lettuce (to taste)

You'll also need the following utensils and appliances:
Microwave
Stovetop
Skillet
Microwave safe plate
Fork
Paper Towel

1. First you'll want to put your nuggets on the microwave safe plate, directly from the freezer.

2. Cook the nuggets on high for around 30 seconds in the microwave. They should still be mostly frozen when you take them out.

3. While you're doing that heat a thin layer of oil in your skillet.

4. Once the oil is bubbling place the nuggets down in a single layer. Be careful not to get burned.

5. Wait around 30 seconds before flipping the nuggets using your fork. You'll want to repeat this every 30 seconds until both sides are crisped and a pleasant golden brown.

6. Remove nuggets from the oil and place on a plate covered in a paper towel to absorb the oil.

7. Place lettuce as a garnish and arrange the nuggets before serving.
