Scratch That

You may have been thinking "

In this piece I have created a heavy dissonance between reality and fantasy. Scratch that. That's not really the case at all. We have created a dissonance between Fantasy and Fantasy. As the round rolling hills peak in the background the thick scratching lines show an entirely distinct aspect. The divide between the two aspects of the image further emphasize both.

Homeless Hero

This homeless hero stands as a champion against the small invaders trying to take the Earth. Really though the chicken-sized aliens would have been stopped by someone else if he fell. Possibly someone of larger size, like some random human.

Tinfoil hat... I'm not sure it's quite up to snuff.

Warm Outline

Red, Orange, and Yellow is the spectrum of warm colors, as opposed to the cool colors, which are a spectrum of Green, Cyan, Blue, Indigo, and Violet... When I type it like that it doesn't sound quite right... No, it's because there aren't words for the colors between Red and Orange or Orange and Yellow. Well, Red-Orange is a color between red and orange, but with that name it barely counts. Oh, those nice gold colors between yellow and orange are definitely things.

Promised Lines

As promised in the last post this piece has an assortment of arbitrary and random lines in it. This "Layers" style is something I used to use fairly often. It's a bit time consuming to make all of the extra bits but it looks interesting so it's alright. Thinking up a variety of patterns for the background colors is the hardest part. This time even the outline is full of purple!

Clear Blue Sky

Behind this arbitrary fowl stands a clear blue sky. I was not surprised to find I had one called Blue Sky, but that was the title I was going to go with. I like the stripes on that one. Next post will have more random lines!

Also this is the first Patreon post.

Patreon

Hey everybody. You can now show your support for the site through Patreon. What, you might ask, is Patreon? Patreon is a web site where you can agree to make recurring donations to creative types on the internet. I'm one of those I'm sure you'll all agree, so I figured I should probably have one.

So, what I'm trying to say is I'm trying to make a few bucks off this site but I'm not going to fill it with ads or something uncouth like that If you're willing to donate a couple bucks toward the site each month I promise I'll kick it up a notch.

That was very disorienting. We always talk about the site as if it weren't just the one person doing everything. The honesty is truly a strange and horrible beast.

Also this image has been added to the sidebar above the DriveThruRPG and SpreadShirt links. It was really hard to find an appropriately sized Patreon Logo.

Harry Potter

This is a chicken version of the infamous Sorting Hat scene from the first Harry Potter book/film. He enters Chickendor house of course.

CHALLENGE COMPLETE

Clucker

My Twitter handle has changed for anyone who follows me on there. It is now @ChickenMakerNet instead of @ChickenMakerK, since the K didn't really mean anything and some random inactive user is @ChickenMaker

Shades McCoolguy IX: Golden Ending

I welcome everyone to the final part of the third trilogy of Shades McCoolguy. I'm not entirely sure how this got delayed for so long, part 8 being posted back in January, but it's probably because I had no idea what to do with it and didn't want to rush through the finale, then I forgot I was doing it. If you don't know what this is then go to the Project section using the button on the right

Shades McCoolguy faced off against the Sailor on the deck of his ship. His uncertainty about how to protect the fowl already on board the ship had left him distracted enough to be caught face to face with the foul man intent on their slaughter. Bounding forth Shades had no real choice one way or the other. He had to handle the Sailor now or there would be no saving anyone.
It really goes without saying that in the end an exhausted Shades looked out over the rails of the Cajun Queen, leaving the Sailor to his end in the murky waters below. He was battered and bruised, but the Sailor hadn't managed to fry him despite his best efforts. Truly when he had set out he hadn't intended to end this so cruelly. He'd planned to let the law handle the Sailor's crimes, but as usual he hadn't been able to forgive the man once they'd crossed paths.
Moving toward the helm he prepared to take everyone back home. The day was saved for them and once they were off this boat of death Shades thought he might just have to sink it.

Shadow

It was believed that the chicken was no more than a shadow of its former self, but as they saw that subtle smile there was no doubt that the chicken had plenty of fight left in it.

Excuse Me While I America

I have been brought to understand that other countries get annoyed when the USA refers to itself as America, but that seems unreasonable to me. I mean surely we need a 1 word manner of referring to ourselves. States has a meaning already. It's not like any other thing is called as America anyways. There's North America, South America and The Americas.

Zodiac Pals 0

Welcome to the first release of Zodiac Pals, which I decided to make two months ago.

Stylish

I'm working on making something differently stylized from my usual postings. This isn't quite what I was looking for but it's not bad.
