A bit late, but happy easter. I skipped April Fools so this is one of the main not chickens I draw every year...

This is not a quality Rabbit, but I think I roughly aligned the quality of the chick to match? Both are acceptable in a short children's book for sure.

They're in the Big Bat's home turn, but the Martial Fowl seems ready to go, even upside-down and a bit dazed from the blood rushing to his head.

Barnyard

We don't need to be limited to just chickens. I can draw the whole range of barnyard critters, from chicken to pig. Maybe even duck? Cow is a bit large but I've done it before.

Of course you've already seen through this April Fool's jape. We need to include a chicken or it isn't Chicken Maker at all.

Thanksgiving Turkey

By far the most questionable content on this site. Here is our annual-ish turkey. To my fellow Americans, Happy Thanksgiving. And to the rest of you have a great Thursday.

Turkey Vs.

I mean for the most part the IRL Turkey is just much bigger than the chicken, but that's not important for this. Glaring in a sudden confrontation. Would it be a fight or would they just walk by?

If you're American I hope you enjoyed the holiday and ate a lot of turkey.

Bewitched Bog

In the bewitched bog the bewitched frogs were confused. As they saw through the bewitched fog they were entranced by this rather bewitching blog... 

I mean chicken. A rather bewitching chicken. That doesn't rhyme with bog at all though.

Bat

The humble bat could only look on in confusion as a sleeping chicken shares the bar it was resting on.

Turkey Night

As night grew near the turkey could only stand surprised, but triumphant. It has survived the holiday yet again.

Pig & Friends

The internet said April Fools was inappropriate this year so I guess I'll just post this pig without claiming that it's the start of a new project.

This is definitely not my usual style but it was kind of fun to draw and this could easily have been a stupid kids cartoon. Or at least bouncing to nursery rhymes like the weirder kids YouTube videos.

Doggo

This looks like a dog, more or less. I can occasionally draw things that aren't chickens. I also feel somewhat comfortable with things like swords, mysterious eye monsters, and a variety of hats.

I'm going to mix it up a bit. Not sure how long this series will last, but it's always nice to do something different. It's been a while since I last drew a human. This being the site it is I'll be sure to sneak at least one chicken into each post of Johnny Comic.

Chic Ken

Not just anyone can get away with being as insane as Ken, but he's a real super hottie so him being a a madman with a chicken mask and hand puppets is no big deal. Also he used to be a Chicken themed super hero.

Double Delight with Chinese Eggplant

I went out for Chinese this evening. I had the title item. Here is an art I drew on the lid with a chopstick. It was chicken, shrimp and eggplant. I think I did well.

The turkey knew today would be the day. He had to escape and so going into the night he found a chicken willing to help with his escape, but they both knew that any other night might be the chicken's.
