Chickens come in green, but that color just feels wrong to me when I see it. Birds should be more neutral colors like Brown, Beiges, Black, Gray, White... I don't know why I feel that way because I will look at a bluejay or cardinal without a second thought.

This dark green chicken would have a big iron on his hip, but doesn't have hands to actually draw.

Nighttime Birding

Just imagine. It's late at night. You've in the city. Trash strewn around the alley. You've been being a bird all day. Now it's time for your Nighttime Birding

Blue-tint is still the best way you make it night.

Overflowed

This guy's got just a teensy bit too much flow going on. By which I mean I intentionally made all of the linework a little too long so there's a weird ugly overlap.

 

One Chicken (More?)

 

More colorways. We can have multiple colors on one bird. I tend to like a darker head and wing just as a random thing I've done on here for years. 

Inverting is gaudy, but we obviously can't not include that.

One Chicken (Ribbon?)

How should I describe this project... What if I'd done NFTs? Shuffling colors, backgrounds, random nonsense bonus elements. I think the way those generated was neat. It's a shame it was buried in a crypto scam.

Once I feel I have enough of these I'll parse them back out into their various elements and make an interactive version so you can make your very own One Chicken

Forever ago I made a Flash game called "400 chickens" that was just a basic picker with 3 or 4 options and it hit 400 with way less than I expected so this will probably have at least a couple thousand potential chickens?
