A Different Look Today

Okay, my attempt to make something distinct had definitely come to a success with this piece. I am almost sure I don't have anything that looks like this in my gallery.

Well, almost. I mean there's quite a bit of this site. This piece has elements of Sketchy, which I posted just last month, and my so called "Layers" Style. I suppose in a lot of ways there's nothing brand new in it.

Empty Feeling

The bold outlines set an unfulfilled tone as the dull listless colors fill them in, representing a struggle to achieve a solid result. The unclear eye gives and impression that the fowl lacks character. The black in the inside of the beak, alongside the black background, implies that there is nothing inside the chicken.

Anyways, what I'm trying to say is... I missed a day. My attempt to post every day this month has failed. Heh...

Stranger Outline

This piece has a stranger outline than usual. Well, really it's a one pixel black outline. It's pretty much the standard as far as outlines go. But I didn't make it that way. I made it by putting color on a black canvas and keeping the parts separated. It was only after it was finished that I realized it was such a standard sort of outline. That's actually a bit annoying because I went from a different direction so that I would get something that looked different.

Anyways no matter how strange the journey every path leads to the same destination.

Sprite Type Chicken

Today's piece has a nice early computer game look that I like and I think you'll all enjoy. Sorry for the small size.

FreshPaint

I tried out FreshPaint today. That's basically the Windows 8 version of Paint. I don't like it. I didn't like it last time I fiddled with it either. Well, it seems like a near program. It's just not one I think I want to use.

Patreon Exclusive Today

Today I posted a Patreon Exclusive... That is I posted the finished version of the Incomplete post from a couple days ago on there. I mean I do have the one Patron so I feel like he best have some stuff at least. But that didn't stop me from also giving you this one... which I'll admit I had sitting around with my intention to post something exclusive over there.

I kinda didn't want to link that since it takes you to a link saying nothing but I feel incomplete not directing you to it.

Pac-Chicken

This is better than what I had yesterday but I'm not totally satisfied with it either... I think it's as good as I'm going to get trying to have both the Pac-Man aesthetic and a chicken though. I can do a better Pac-Man, and I can do a better chicken, but this is my best Pac-Chicken

In Progress

Today I failed to complete a chicken, but I said I'd have a post every day, and this is one even if this chicken is still in progress. (I also have a half-done Pac-Man chicken but I don't really like it)

I'm really sorry. I completely lost track of the time.

Fan Power

Feather Cloak

Donning her flowing cape of steel feathers Emily Pullet becomes Feather Cloak, the masked vigilante. Waltzing against fowl foes she always closes the case, leaving only the criminal and a steel feather behind as evidence.

This was supposed to be a guy but for some reason it looked effeminate to me and I'm not so picky that that's an issue. Especially not this month.
