Super Hero HD Background

Hello everyone. We're back with a thrilling Superhero themed background. Here we see a Classic 4 Color type hero being surprised by the arrival of one of those Spawn-style dark heroes. The city is obviously big enough for the both of them but they'll have to duke it out in a cross over before never interacting again, since the Dark Hero really is the sort of villain Four Color should be defeating.

The Spawn-type was more interesting to draw, but I prefer the classic style superhero personally.

Chicken Ninja

A nice chicken themed human. I called him a ninja, but he's more like a tokusatsu hero, like a Power Ranger or a Kamen Rider. It's the translucent visor that makes that distinction. Kind of a taste of Gatchaman in the bird visor.

Green Feather

So, I went hard and made 5 things while recording my screen and blindly rambling. Unfortunately this ended with me getting a corrupted file so that was no good. So, 5 posts today  to make up for the slow start for the month.

Feather Cloak

Donning her flowing cape of steel feathers Emily Pullet becomes Feather Cloak, the masked vigilante. Waltzing against fowl foes she always closes the case, leaving only the criminal and a steel feather behind as evidence.

This was supposed to be a guy but for some reason it looked effeminate to me and I'm not so picky that that's an issue. Especially not this month.

Another Hero

I like super heroes. Putting a mask and a cape on is all it takes to make a fantastic hero appear. I gave him the nice white eyes like all the heroes tend to have.

Rooster Gold

Rooster Gold is a time travelling chicken from the future. A former janitor at a museum of the future he swiped some impressive hero-ing gear from the museum and went back in time using a large egg-shaped time machine that had been on display. Arriving in the past he had a simple goal. To become a great and wealthy super hero using his knowledge of the future.

Wish I could take credit for that but those are small surface changes from the actual plot of Booster Gold, one of my favorite superheroes. It was kind of hard to make him look all shiny like that, but definitely worthwhile.

Anyways the important thing is it's an excellent play on words.

Light Speed

The Hero, Light Speed, had many chickens who looked up to him. As he looked at the data on his suit he looked up to it. When he wasn't wearing that he seemed like a weakling to himself. It was crazy how much that outfit could change things for him. When he was wearing it all he could be was a hero.

Oh, I don't post anything for one week... I'll make it up to you guys.

Super Hero Tights

Where do superheroes always get such strange colored tights. I can't imagine it's easy to find those sorts of patterned spandex suits. Or maybe it is. I've never looked. Anyways this chicken-themed superhero couldn't find that sort of things so he has a feathered mask and cape over a plain black set of tights.

Sorry for the poor start to this month.

Is He A Hero

This man stands alone at the pinnacle of his craft. He has never done another harm, but while he is a man that could do nearly anything he hasn't acted to save many whose paths he crossed.. So one must ask themselves... Is he a hero?

Anyways I liked that smooth comb I made in that last picture so I stuck with it. And I tried letting the red engulf the eye, since well, it does. I may continue to do such. I'm not sure. Looking at this one it seems kinda like a super hero's mask.

CHICKEN RIDER KICK!

This Henshin hero is unleashing a crowing kick at his foes.

Anyways the Kamen Rider series has a sort of broken nostalgia for me. I loved the TERRIBLE Masked Rider show that was on Fox at the same time as Power Rangers. (I've seen it since. Was running on pure nostalgia.) But I watched some of the actual ones and I rather like them. Got a good number of explosions and fights and what not.

You know a Kamen Rider(that's foreign for Masked Rider) was a lot harder to do than a Power Ranger. These guys have almost no consistency. Pretty much belts, bikes, that muscle looking armor(usually), and their traditional finishing move of a RIDER KICK!(which is fancy talk for jump kick and what I drew)

After a short hiatus I return with a chicken themed super hero the likes of which have most probably never been seen before.

When trouble brews he is there

When evil lurks he sees it

When darkness threatens he arrives

And with his cluck of justice...

BAM! POW! KA-CHOP-a-doodle-doo!
