Nightly Chicken

Emerging from the darkness we have our nightly chicken.

Well, these aren't really nightly, but this one certainly shows up at night. It's scarier that way.
 

Armor

I used to do quite a bit of classic fantasy chickens, but it's been a while. Anyways here's a big with one of those beak helmets. It's a bit awkward to get on when you already have a beak.

Little Birdy

A little birdy told me your secret, so you may as well just admit it so I can use it to blackmail you later. Feel free to let me know if you stole money from a shady businessman or stabbed a man in cold blood.

I don't really want to know about anything more mundane or illicit.

Really?

You might say, "This is supposed to be a chicken? Really?"

And to that I say "I'm kind of settled into this way of stylizing things, but yeah. Almost everything on this site is supposed to be a chicken."

Hopefully the conversation ends there, because I don't have many more follow-up comments.

This one is sad. You can tell from the eyebrows that chickens don't have.

With a Hat

Start the month off with a hat. It's got a good shape with a blown up brim.

Egg Ghost

The egg yolk took shape as the fowl spirit was roused and a ghastly sizzle came up from the frying pan.

This was simply the daily breakfast experience when you were a ghost hunting farmer. 

Blueprint

The world is made to match the plans that are laid, but between the idea and the reality things never quite match up. Able to instantly recall these half realized plans the goggle-clad fowl saw a path for escape. Otherwise he was bound to be someone's dinner before too long.

This may be more on the "string of nonsense" end but I think I need to get back to wandering rambles so that's good.

Twisted Aura

The psychic detective didn't know what to do. For many years he had relied on his unique gift to solve countless crimes, but this time was different. The twisted aura of the bird was worse than any serial killer. But it couldn't have been responsible for the recent string of violent robberies, unless–!
