Stop Dust

Skidding to a stop.
Dust Wells.
Edge of existence right before his eyes.
DON'T FALL INTO THE PURPLE!!!

And now to speak of it from an artistic perspective. This is of a style that seems familiar to me, though I can't place the name. I had thought it was Matte, but that is not right. The bits of black stroked through it help to define outlines without being obtuse or out of place, aside from a few small places, like the tip of the comb. It gives a clear impression of what it is, though the 'dust' isn't formed in a regular manner and seems out of place with the rest of the piece. The endless void feels as if it should mean something, but its meaning is unclear.

  1. I am always impressed with the seriousness with which you approach your drawings, and how they yield really entertaining drawings. =)
