Presenting Presents

Box. Cylinder. Skewed box. Not only are these shapes easy to draw they're also the ones I can easily wrap. Unlike such dark and twisted shapes as blanket or bag.

Cookie

Gingerbread men are a big part of Christmas, though I usually end up with vague blobs of icing rather than pretty drawings on them after a few. A half dozen gingerbread chickens remain on this counter top now, but will there be any left by morning?

Swirling Santa

Merry Christmas everyone. This is the first of your posts for the day. It's the end of the year so we'll be going at a good pace.

This is a stylized chicken. I was having a good time drawing the swirls for the hat's furry bit so I just continued it through the rest of the drawing.

Green Hat

Fundamentally this is a site where I draw chickens wearing silly costumes. I've been a bit light on the silly costumes so I drew a hat. It's absolutely hideous, so I drew a neckerchief to pair with it. I decided to give the costume the wider outlines and drew a chicken in the middle of it.

I should probably mention something about a Chinese colloquialism here, but we'll save that for another green hat.

They say that if you love what you do you'll never really work a day in your life. That's obviously nonsense. I mean I love this thing that isn't even my job and I still occasionally feel like it's work.
