Mildly Frustrated

I am mildly frustrated. I was cleaning up some old accounts and things that I have and accidentally deactivated my most essential Chicken Maker Patreon account. That will hopefully be restored shortly since I resubmitted it and sent a message to their help desk.

Neon Glow

The lightly colored hum of a neon sign, obscured by the pale glow of its own light. It is unmoving and unbending. It stands as a light in the darkness, but only one that looks cool, not one that does something helpful like guide your way or illuminate the surroundings.

Looking

For this piece we have chosen to really mix things up. That's why the chicken is facing left rather than right.

Of course the real secret is that the head isn't defined and both left and right are in white.

Cloud Fall

Falling from the blue sky one questions how the chicken reached such heights in the first place. Did he leap from a plane? Fired from a cannon? Or is it a legend who truly took flight in a magnificent display... but not for long.

Flared

The bird has flared feathers and a flame-like comb. I feel pretty concerned about the round beak being too like a nose, but I think it works at least in the context of the rest of this site. The important part is the nice thick lines and strange shapes.

Hatching

For today's piece an anxious hen watches as her egg begins to hatch.

Trying Hard – April 2022 Wallpaper

If you're doing something you should be trying. Trying to what? I don't know. You don't need to seek victory, success or even fun. Just actually do whatever it is you're trying to do. Sorry this one got a bit delayed. I wasn't happy with it last month.

Fighting Game

Fighting Head-to-Head in a best two out of three. Punch in that crazy input and use your... um...

I can't figure out a good chicken pun for Hadoken and any other special move feels too obscure to reference. Like half the special moves in these games end in -ken because it means fist and I guess I can roll that into Chicken, but that just gives us things like Ha-do-chicken. That is fun enough but I'm not satisfied with it.

Anyways I like King of Fighters if I'm picking a fighting game, though I haven't played the newest one yet.
