Digital Gridz – April 2023 Wallpaper

Here's this month's wallpaper. Bright green on black is the best and only style you ever need, and in the strange digital future we'll all be strange wireframe birds living on a grid. Or multiple gridz, with a Z because it's the future. As I've secretly revealed many times any random string of numbers in the background always just spells chicken. Don't tell anybody.

Old School GFX

So old school we aren't even spelling out the word Graphics today. Oh, this is an example of the blowing up your pixel art thing I was talking about the other day by the way.

Digital Pilot

Wearing the helmet perceptions of reality are faint as it fills your senses with the input from the system.

This is, I believe, the most detail I have tried to render using my "Gritty Sharpness" style of black and white cel-shading-esque art. How did it work?

! The Hacker

   The Hacker, !, has planned a terrifying assault that defies all chickens. It very much threatens to upset the balance. As he plasters his mocking logo onto us, disregarding the very nature of this site!
   Now, I considered actually replacing the site with some variety of "You've been hacked" page, including that picture, but you know, I decided against it. It's not as if I have enough fans that it would have gone noticed. Probably would've just been a wasted effort. Also this is a chicken, just inverted(And very very stylized)
 

   This text actually fits this time :P 

   Oh right. If there really is a hacker going by "!" please don't be upset with me.

Within Loops

Within the glowing green loops of cyberspace a chicken exists. The never-ending spin. The Chicken does not hide. He shows himself, and challenges you.

Bad Graphics

Right here I have a bad graphics chickens. Like something on a old DOS game. Well, that's entirely inaccurate. I've never used a computer with less than 16 colors so what do I know. That's kinda what I was going off of. Maybe a bit of Bad Graphics Ghost from Homestar Runner

TRON Chicken

Well, while I made this I realized two things. first off... I haven't seen TRON since I was like 6. I wanna see it again now but if I did it would probably ruin my nostalgia so I'm not sure if I should or not. Now, this wouldn't normally matter much but I did the lines on black before I did a Google search and by that point I was like, "eh..." That's what it's like in the sequel(that's supposed to be coming out at the end of 2010) anyways. I had to go with Magenta since Blue's the hero, Red's evil, Green was in Tron 2.0(the game) and Magenta seems like the next neon color, though that might have been better as yellow instead. My light cycle was more or less a custom job. It's kinda a cross between the original and new versions, since I wanted that laser windshield. Took me a few tries to get his glowing lines right but I like the end result. Oh, right. The second thing I realized is that there's a new Tron coming out at the end of the year.

So, dude looks ready to take on the evil red computer, yeah?
