In this piece we struggle to overcome the foolish restraints of the past. Observe the true form of your surroundings. Consider the striking divergence from both the classical and accepted forms. The more striking colors draw out the sharply angled background elements. Enter our modern life of jagged red angles and truly powerful eyebrows! Wait, that might be wrong.

Determination (noun) - How determined you are.

I don't think that's correct, but I'm certainly not going to let a dictionary tell me how to define determination.

Ryan the Rooster

For my dear friend Aaron's sister, I have captured the likeness of your beloved rooster, Ryan. I hope you can appreciate this piece.

It's the first time I've worked with a photo reference in a while so this piece was made with a careful consideration for the balance between realism and the classic Chicken Maker style.

Lunatic

Madness is the easiest thing to fall back on. One can only remain a composed stoic for so long unless they're truly mad, but one can embrace insanity until it becomes mundane.

I started with the tongue sticking out and went from there.

Pig & Friends

The internet said April Fools was inappropriate this year so I guess I'll just post this pig without claiming that it's the start of a new project.

This is definitely not my usual style but it was kind of fun to draw and this could easily have been a stupid kids cartoon. Or at least bouncing to nursery rhymes like the weirder kids YouTube videos.

March 2020 Wallpaper - Flow

This month we have a vertical wallpaper, because I wanted a new phone background. The shining pink light coils and flows around our pair of inverted birds.

The site title is a bit less styled than usual this month,as I felt it threw off the balance if it wasn't on both the top and bottom. I considered putting it in both places, but the upside down one was even more distracting.

Spring

It's Spring so you should try to get out and enjoy the fresh nature.

I mean it's still cold where I am and people are locked down and what have you.

Regardless of all that it's still Spring as of a couple days ago.

Laser Standee

I bought a cheap laser cutter because it was neat with no actual plan. Naturally this means my I'm doing something Chicken Maker related with it. These came out really nice honestly.
