Pointy – July 2023 Wallpaper

Imagine if you would, a chicken not of sight or of sound, but of mind. Then forget about that because as a rule of thumb we only do of sight here. In this month's wallpaper we consider a simple question. What if it was pointier? Strong angles and hard shadows are the questionable fundamental that I forget about every day. That's why this is art.

Anime Eyes

I decided to give this one some of those big anime eyes that overflow off the face.
 

Blocked Out

Naturally every canvas is just an unrealized chicken for me, but for your benefit I've just have roughly blocked this in here. Eyebrows aren't generally a chicken feature, but it was clear as day so I embraced it.

Stink

Hey, if you're dirty and gross then please stop. Don't stink at me. Go take a shower or something. It's good for you.

Good Lines

These are good lines, and I think we can all agree this is vaguely a chicken. At least because we're on this website.

But what is linework? The Oxford English Dictionary defines it  as "drawings or designs carried out with a pen or pencil." Since this strange assortment of lines was made on a computer it's disqualified right away. So if we can't claim to be linework what can we claim this is? Simply an abstract mix of shapes?

Surprised

I'm surprised. I didn't expect it.

What didn't I expect? No way to know yet. I still don't expect it.

Light shined through as the bird stared into the distance.

Just a standard chicken, so enjoy it.

Chicken Torch

What if you could be fire, human torch style? Would you? I wouldn't. Being fire seems almost as bad as being on fire. But maybe it would be really cool and would let me have a cool fire mustache? Have you even imagined?
