Construction Wizard

The construction wizard consulted his blue scroll, but honestly couldn't make heads or tails of these so called skyscrapers. Shouldn't they be something reasonable, like a Chicken Coup or an ominous Tower?

I was on vacation. I thought I let you all know, but I forgot.

Robe of Stars

The mysterious wizard was cloaked in a Robe of Stars. It was so distinctive one could almost, but not quite, forget that they were also a giant talking bird.

Spellbook Apprentice

Accidentally opening the spellbook after wandering into the witch's house. The book took a liking and filled the bird with forbidden knowledge. The meager fowl was entranced by the vast swell of information as the pages span around it like a whirlwind. 

But most importantly the chicken gained the tiny hat the witch had on hand for her cat.

Wizard

Magic is truly the most squiggly of all vague concepts. While the scraggly wizard is safe in his blue, around him the air is dyed red.

Wizard (Sticker)

This is the Wizard, another entry in the Sticker set I started working on in February. I said this one was next, but this project slipped my mind in the past few months. I suppose along with a Knight and Wizard we would want a Thief next?

These colors are perhaps a bit too forest-like so this could probably be called a druid or similar if we're going by your average fantasy setting. It has a pointed hat though and that's really the most important part.

Evil Wizard Old and New

Just wanted to comment on the changes to my standards. The right represents my early work from 2009. It was actually a fair amount of effort to not overdo the left since I wanted it to be my standard not my high end.

TechnoMage

To engage in technology or magic. This is truly one of the hard questions in life... as long as we accept that magic is an analogy for nature or something like that.

In this fowl fellow's case though it is much more literal. Robot eye vs Wizard robe. Lightning Bolt vs Cog. Truly a challenge. It's not a balancing act that can be kept up forever.

Chicken-Mancer

A plump wizard utilizes the full force of his mystical powers to find the tastiest fowl in all the land.

Dark Wizard

This Wizard says "Oogie Boogie Boo!" Because that's the sound that Evil Wizards make. He also occasionally goes with something more along the lines of "BUCKAWK!" because he is a chicken.

Wizard Nick

This was supposed to be another Santa but he felt too wizard-esque to me so instead of Saint Nick he's Wizard Nick. In between giving corn to good chicks he fights off evil foxes. Chances are he just magics all the toys up as well.

HERO: Battle 03: Not The Hero's Fight

Okay. Here is the next part of Hero. I'm sorry to say that it doesn't really focus on our ball-like protagonist though. It instead serves to give us some insight on some of the other characters. And by insight I mean I wanted to draw the fight between the Wizard and The Cowboy. I also included another one of those profile type pages.

Stormcrow the Green

Well, on occasion I feel the need to gauge my ability to draw, and usually the best way to do that is to try to redraw something I drew before, so I remade Stormcrow the Green, who I originally created last September. Now, I feel like this shows more of my change in sense, like coloring and making crescent moons, than it does with my ability to draw, but I feel like there's definitely been some improvement. Anyways I like the glowing green aura deal better than a couple crescent waves.

A wizened old wizard, Stormcrow the Green is a spell caster without many equals. (Being wise he knows better than to think he's without equal)

On the note of Improvement I think I need to rework that Best of Chicken Maker List. There's not a single thing from 2010 on there and I can see all the things I've improved on when I look at them and think things like "If I'd made that now I'd have redrawn that head before I posted it." So, do you have any favorite chickens on this site. If you do feel free to comment below(or anywhere on the site really) or send me an eMail(It'd be a nice break from the spam mail I usually get in there.)

Stormcrow the Green

You know I realized there are a lot of really generic things I haven't bothered with, like RPG classes. That's why I decided to do a wizard. Gave him a big waddle to make up for the lack of beard and a pointy hat because wizards 'ought to have one. He's got a hooked beak 'cause I seem to recall wizards having hooked noses.

Well, yeah. I gave him a Name the Color name like in Lord of the Rings, and even used a name generator to get the Stormcrow bit.
