HYPER CHRISTMAS UPDATE SPECIAL!! START!!

This chicken is in the Christmas spirit. He's got the hat and is laughing "HO HO HO!" because that's the sort of thing he ought to be doing, isn't it? Anyways this one's a tad lazy on the actual chicken but the 2 snowflakes that I sprinkled onto the image make up for that. It's not like it was a terrible one after all.

Also this Christmas update is scheduled to be posted throughout the day. It's gonna be quite big so be sure to check a few times

Something Wrong With Eyebrows

This slick young man is worried that people are looking down on his just because he has styling eyebrows. Everyone knows he's just being silly and that they are really very awesome but they keep saying things despite that because they're cruel to him because he gets all the girls with his slick comb and masculine eyebrows.

Naked Chick

 Let's be straight here. You expected nothing else at all when you saw the title. I mean all that I put on this site is pictures of chickens, so of course the 'Naked Chick' was just going to be a featherless chicken. I had attempted to do a baby chicken but my mouse refused to work with me so that's one I'll be saving for a later date

One Who Roosts

This is a rooster. He looks a bit angry, but that's just because you haven't gotten to know him yet. Under those angry solid black eyes and scowling beak he's a generous friend. He just roosts all day.

I wasn't actually sure what that word meant so I looked it up in the good old Webster online dictionary.

Having read this there's one obvious thing I realize... I also like to settle down for rest or sleep.

Warhol?

On his fine... Saturday evening I have for you my good men one of those Warhol 4 panel chickens. Mind you I looked around a bit and I couldn't actually find a single one of these by Andy Warhol. Just a lot of Warhol style 4 panel things. I thought I found one but it turned out to be a nine panel thing. The whole thing makes it very hard to trust common terms when you can't find any basis for them at all.

All that having been said this piece represents the different facets of the personality of this one chicken. Just look at them one by one. The envious green, the angry red, the smooth and cool blue one and the... purple one.

Eyes Wide Open

Okay well, here we go again kiddos. Today on the Chicken Maker we have a fine display of an uptight chicken with some wide open eyes. That's all there is to it. Now boys, don't you go off ditching on me just cause you have lamer friends who want to please. Just bring them over to this site too.

Real Effort

Today I put in some real effort. The cell-shading-esque art found in this piece is rather indicative of my usual style, though I opted to forgo the usual outlines in favor of the more fluid style seen above. The background was chosen to blend in, emphasize the body and still remain distinct from the foreground. The spark of light in the eyes is a small break that makes it feel more natural than it otherwise would while the shading falls rather uniformly giving it a pleasant feel.

There was a real effort put into the piece but it lacks any interesting distinction to leave it truly memorable.

NUMBER TWO-HUNDRED!!

200. Yes indeed. It's hard to believe I made it to post number 200. I've posted over 200 pictures on this site and it's still going strong. Some day all people will know the greatness of this site.

You know I think I might spring for a web address some time. Of course for some damnable reason "Capt Jeff's Potato Salad Mix" owns chickenmaker.com and before them Cherry Delight had it. Makes it hard to trust people.
