A bit late, but happy easter. I skipped April Fools so this is one of the main not chickens I draw every year...

This is not a quality Rabbit, but I think I roughly aligned the quality of the chick to match? Both are acceptable in a short children's book for sure.

Full of the rousing spirit of the 90s this chicken has a backwards cap!

Fez

As I'm always telling you this website is all about drawing chickens in funny hats and to my shock I've never drawn a fez, one of the classic funny hats, on here. Not even when it was a trendy indie game.

Chicken Maker for 17 Years

This website is 17 years old, so about half my life Chicken Maker has been here as one of my main creative outlets. Even after all this time I'm still not quite sure what this is supposed to be exactly. Mmm... I'll just keep calling myself a fake artist.

Small detailed lines are fun, but are admittedly not that clearly visible so I've included a zoomed in version of this graphic and its three variants

This bird is tall. Not that I believe in things like that or anything, but I'm pretty sure that's how perspective works.

Baseball Season

As seems to happen every year Baseball season is coming. Really Spring Training is already in full swing. Get out and toss the ball around.

All I actually do is visit the batting cages a couple times a year though?

Small Brush

The tiny little 2x2 square brush is one I don't use very much. It lacks the smoothness that even the 4x4 circle brings in.

I don't know what kind of youths are on here, but the clear standard that was MS Paint has really changed over the years. I still use the Windows 98/XP flavor of MS Paint so there's only 12 "brushes", round (1x1, 4x4, 7x7), square (2x2, 5x5, 8x8), and the two diagonals (2x2, 5x5, 8x8)

Blacklight – February 2026 Wallpaper

From the depths of a blacklight poster in the back of a questionable store in a shopping mall we bring you the latest in MS Paint Chicken art. This isn't actually what those looked like, but it's filled with a nostalgic feeling.

I haven't made a new vertical wallpaper in a while and when it comes to my phone background it's just going to need to stay a little on the gaudy side so this felt fresh.

Space Chickens – December 2025 Wallpaper

We may be slightly behind on our regularly scheduled content, which is strange because I don't even have a schedule.

This, obviously, is based on my reliable Fantasy Football branding as the Space Chickens. Had it been posted in December I would tell you we were right in there, going the distance, competing for the Championship wrestling belt. Instead I'll tell you I lost in the end. But it's really all about the random trash talk we shared along the way.

As usual, the answer is no. These are chickens. Probably from the same place. Potentially brothers?

Little Dance

Oh yeah, check out those moves. Not every day you see a chicken do a little dance. Definitely seductive or intimidating or whatever it's trying to do.
 

Wild West

Chickens come in green, but that color just feels wrong to me when I see it. Birds should be more neutral colors like Brown, Beiges, Black, Gray, White... I don't know why I feel that way because I will look at a bluejay or cardinal without a second thought.

This dark green chicken would have a big iron on his hip, but doesn't have hands to actually draw.

Nighttime Birding

Just imagine. It's late at night. You've in the city. Trash strewn around the alley. You've been being a bird all day. Now it's time for your Nighttime Birding

Blue-tint is still the best way you make it night.

Overflowed

This guy's got just a teensy bit too much flow going on. By which I mean I intentionally made all of the linework a little too long so there's a weird ugly overlap.

 

One Chicken (More?)

 

More colorways. We can have multiple colors on one bird. I tend to like a darker head and wing just as a random thing I've done on here for years. 

Inverting is gaudy, but we obviously can't not include that.

One Chicken (Ribbon?)

How should I describe this project... What if I'd done NFTs? Shuffling colors, backgrounds, random nonsense bonus elements. I think the way those generated was neat. It's a shame it was buried in a crypto scam.

Once I feel I have enough of these I'll parse them back out into their various elements and make an interactive version so you can make your very own One Chicken

Forever ago I made a Flash game called "400 chickens" that was just a basic picker with 3 or 4 options and it hit 400 with way less than I expected so this will probably have at least a couple thousand potential chickens?
