Mecha-Huhn

During the meteor shower a lone fowl escaped its coup and narrowly avoided the crash landing of a mysterious metal bird.In an instant the rooster's mind was connected to the vast knowledge of space and it achieve sentience. But will he truly be able to control the Mecha-Huhn and protect the Earth?

Mysterious robots deserve random poorly translated half German names. Of course by the end of the story it would surely have become the Mecha-Gebratenes-Huhnchen-Kaiser or something

Cyborg – February 2022 Wallpaper

This month's wallpaper is a cross between two classic Chicken Maker pieces, Future Imperfect and Cyborg Chicken W. (Both of which had remakes in Future Imperfect Once More and Cyborg Chicken W REMAKER!) Nice to draw from my vast back catalogue on occasion. I've had so many half baked ideas.

Robo

Even from behind it was undeniable that it was some sort of mechanical robo-bird. The fancy gold and blue wings really have no place on a chicken though. Those are obviously for some sort of robo-falcon or robo-bug.

Damaged Bot

Wandering the cyber-world the cyber-chef caught a chicken to make a cyber-soup. But as his knife cracked down on bird's neck the fowl creature's horrible secret was revealed. It wasn't a tasty rooster, but a robot!

Robot

The year is 21XX. As the one of the world's top scientists you've wasted all of your money and resources on powerful weapons/arms and were stuck using older clunkier robot parts for the body and legs. A strong human pilot couldn't even be found, leaving only a genetically engineered super chicken to control it. The aliens are approaching. The sirens echo. There is no choice. LAUNCH THE ROBOT!

I hadn't used the title Robot yet, but I have used Chicken-Robo twice... Strange times we live in. I should have used Chicken-Robo again

Dark Fowl Watches

The Steel Fowl was broken by the Contraption in their devastating confrontation. Before Fowlinski and his associates could recover the destroyed robot the Steel Fowl vanished. But, who had taken him. under the watchful gaze of the Dark Fowl the Steel Fowl's repairs were completed.

The plot thickens! Need to progress the site's totally existent plot every year or so.

That thing, the Contraption, I had long forgotten it and the shining vision of camaraderie it showed back then. After the Steel Fowl was let out for a test of all things I had given up hope, but it was pushed away by that mysterious robot. Before the Steel Fowl could cause real trouble The Contraption dove into its chest and sent it flying.

A while back I tried to just kind of force a plot, but because there was nothing to go off it didn't really work out. I kind of implied that I would be doing this when I introduced Steel Fowl though, and going ahead and doing random sequels and cross overs seems like a better way to establish some sort of questionable psuedo-setting than the last thing I did... Though that also featured the contraption.

Is this metal monstrosity really the best that we have to offer? Is this really the limit of our expertise? The best we can hope is that it quickly ends up in a scrap heap! I want nothing more to do with it!

CHICKEN IN A GIANT CHICKEN ROBOT

Here we have a thrilling hero of adventure. The chicken must bring forth his giant robot in the darkness so that he can overcome his villains. And of course he's in one of those G Gundam skin tight suits and the robot matches his actions. Challenge Complete!

Welcome to our new series in which I randomly cross over some chicken from forever ago. In this issue I feature a True Hero, the Contraption, and the chicken from You Gotta Get to The Other Side. What will happen when they meet in the middle of the sidewalk? Find out next time.

4 Years Running

As per usual we have reached St. Patrick's Day and with it the site's anniversary. Today makes 4 years running with pretty regular updates, which is pretty impressive for a random internet site. We're not even like a fan site to something on GeoCities or something. We're just a random blog on the Blogger. Definitely the coolest one though. Now spread out and tell all your friends about this site.

As is tradition I have taken a few of my favorites from the past year and painted them green.

Bots

There are so many bots on this site now. It used to be amusing. Like when they were all posting on a single picture. It was funny to me. I didn't mind at all. In fact I found it entertaining. They're posting more now and spreading all around. So I'll be deleting all the comments... Except on that picture. I still find that entertaining.

I don't mind really blunt advertising. I've said that before. You wanna advertise your thing you go right ahead and post "CHECK OUT MY SITE!" or whatever you want but I don't like these form comment these things post up.

Some of these comments make me rather excited until I saw who posted them. Like this one:

"Youre so cool! I dont suppose Ive learn anything like this before. So good to seek out any individual with some unique ideas on this subject. realy thanks for starting this up. this web site is one thing that is needed on the net, somebody with a bit originality. helpful job for bringing something new to the internet"

Also the red in this picture is meant to be cloth of some sort.

Contraption Redux

It was popular, so the Contraption is back for another round. It doesn't need bolts. It's clearly a robot. Nice and shiny. This time it doesn't have an opponent. Did he and the chicken make peace? Probably. The contraption isn't a particularly violent thing, despite his Terminator-esque eye.

Chicken vs Contraption

Chicken versus Contraption is like man versus machine, but since it's chicken instead of man I figured machine needed to start with a C too. Had to flip through the thesaurus to get that one. Well, that's a lie. I used the internet. Still though. So, I need some opinions. That Robot look alright. Wasn't really sure where I was going when I started on it.

Cyborg Chicken W REMAKER!

Cyborg Chicken W is one of my favorites of the chickens I made in the past. I always tend to think of it as my first good job, but really it wasn't very good. I'd never have posted it if I made it now. So, I decided to make it again. This is more or less the same as the old chicken, but this one is better. I believe I have brought it up to the level of it's modern peers.

Please do tell me how you think I did?

Cyborg Zombie President

Here we have a totally radically awesome picture of the cyborg zombie (chicken) president of the USA, and an anti-zombie activist he bit making the whole thing rather awkward for the both of them. I actually really like how the president came out. He looks like a zombie, he looks like a cyborg. I wasn't quite sure how to capture president. I mean he feels a bit more like secret service, but I say he's the president so you know he is. As for the blood spatter. My MS Paint had some strange error causing it but it looked cool so I went with it. Though it did ruin the sign because I couldn't cover back over the "NO ZOM"

Yeah, I went for a two-fer on my challenges.(... complete!)

A Fan Made Robot

Hi there, 
Seeing as how I’ve been both very bored and broke for the past week or so, I’ve been spending loads of time on the internets.
I found your blog a couple weeks ago and have been checking in every couple days to see what’s new.. I really appreciate your work.
So much so that I was inspired to create something of my own. Mind you, it has nothing to do with chickens, but like I said, I’m bored and broke, so I need cheap entertainment. This is my first real attempt at MS art..
I guess I’m just sending this because it was inspired by your chicken rainbow and nobody’s around right now for me to show it to.
His coat kinda came out pixilated.. I think that’s just because I was using fine lines. I wanted to put a flower on his lapel, but I’m not at that level yet. My idea for him was a timid kind of robot butler, or perhaps waiter at a classy establishment. Hmmm.. Anyways, enjoy!

Thank you Mike for showing me your first attempt, even if it isn't a chicken. And thank you for being a fan of mine. I know it's a bit rude but I'm going to pick at it.

First things first. Mike saved his robot butler as a BMP, which is good(unlike jpeg) but not web friendly. It's best to save as a PNG. As for the coat. There's nothing wrong with a bit of pixelation, but since you used gray for the outlines you probably should have colored the whole coat black(maybe with a red tie). I'm supportive of the fact that he had a simple idea behind him. He's a classy robot servant. It's a good base. I must say his slightly crooked grin makes him look a bit evil though.  I actually rather like the floatation rings. Your biggest problem is the tophat.You have the band placed midway up but that goes at the brim, like so.(Sorry. that's rather abstract looking. This earlier rather terrible one may be better)

At any rate your robot looks about on the level of this robot. And I rather like ole batwings there.

One Year Later

Today is the site anniversary.  Now, if you're anything like me, this comes as a complete shock. I assumed this would burn down after a few months. It'd last until September at most. Now, I wasn't really sure what to do for it at first but it came to me in a flash. I'd get one of them fancy shmancy web-domains, but then I remembered that http://www.chickenmaker.com/ was taken so it was too much hassle and was unsure again.

So, then I put it off for a while then BAM! It hit my like a bus. It's St. Patrick's Day. So, I'm just gonna green up some of my personal favorites from the past year.

On a side note... yes Anniversaries do count as holidays. Though I guess this goes in there regardless, huh?

 Shades McCoolGuy is cutting in with a special appearance. Just think of this as a holiday special. It's a pretty good one I'd say. It's set between the 2nd and 3rd parts because that's where random specials go if you have a trilogy.

 This cyborg chicken was one of my earlier ones. I think of it as one of the better ones, though the waddle is very poorly drawn and I'd have never stood for that sort of quality if I'd made it fresh today.

 The Gritty Sharpness is the best style ever, no doubt. It even works in Green. Look how cool he is.


Also for a short while I'll be trying out one of those "You may also like" things. I'll decide to keep it or not depending on how intrusive it seems after a while.
