No Question

There is No Question in this. There is only one way that this can end. It is a victory for the one with magenta eyes. Only she really put her heart into it.

Anyways, I was thinking about maybe tossing together an FAQ page or something of the sort. Maybe just adding it to the end of the About Page. You guys got any questions?

Alleyway

Can you draw a shady-looking chicken walking down an alleyway with a cigar in its mouth?

Hero: Battle 02

Sorry this third part took so long. I had to relearn how to draw the characters. For previous issues see the Project Page.

Will the Rookie and Hero manage to defeat the Witch and her Winged Eye, Wai? Will the Fool survive? What does the Cowboy look like? What's Hero's cool finishing move? Find out all these and more in this issue of HERO!
And, while I feel a bit cocky... Expect the next issue before the end of the month! After all. We're reaching the good part!

Cyborg Chicken W REMAKER!

Cyborg Chicken W is one of my favorites of the chickens I made in the past. I always tend to think of it as my first good job, but really it wasn't very good. I'd never have posted it if I made it now. So, I decided to make it again. This is more or less the same as the old chicken, but this one is better. I believe I have brought it up to the level of it's modern peers.

Please do tell me how you think I did?

Also I'm redoing my Best of Chicken Maker list on the sidebar, so if you have any favorites gimme a heads up.

Chicken Eater

Cannibal Hunter Irving, of Chicken Kind, Eaten by Neighbor.

The criminal(name withheld by request of the family) was apprehended when the police found the contents of his deep fryer contained chicken. Neighbor's lawyer claims it was "[my client's] own flesh, from an accident." Police claim the accusation is ridiculous, based on the percent content and lack of injuries to the accused.

The Irving family is very distressed, and says "[the accused] was always such a nice man. He even helped with the day to day things." The funeral will be closed casket, as much of the body was disposed of by the heinous acts of the accused.
(continued on page A3)

It's been a while since I last took on a challenge so I figured I would do this one. I feel kinda weird trying to make something look evil for eating a piece of fried chicken. I mean, I know I enjoy myself some chicken. Oh right... CHALLENGE COMPLETE!!

Slammed!

This chicken was made in a way I called the Layered Style during my Same Chicken project. But with uh... less layers. Also I'm pretty sure he's hypnotized. I mean look at that circle emanating from his eye... Or maybe he's trying to hypnotize us...

Quickly!  Cover your eyes before he gets to you!

Is He A Hero

This man stands alone at the pinnacle of his craft. He has never done another harm, but while he is a man that could do nearly anything he hasn't acted to save many whose paths he crossed.. So one must ask themselves... Is he a hero?

Anyways I liked that smooth comb I made in that last picture so I stuck with it. And I tried letting the red engulf the eye, since well, it does. I may continue to do such. I'm not sure. Looking at this one it seems kinda like a super hero's mask.

Punk Chicken

Dear Chicken Maker, I've been looking through your blog and I really like what you I see. I stumbled across your guest posts, and I was inspired, I hope you like this chicken. He's a punk chicken, I apologise if you've already done one and I've missed it. I'll never be as good as you, but I just wanted to try my hand at chicken creation.

Oh, and I had one question as well. Do you have any tips you can give me, as a new blogger, on how to get my website seen by people. I've created a facebook fan site and have attempted to share it through friends, and friends of the friends and so on. How do did you get yours to be as popular as it is?

Many thanks Louie Neale of The Third Side Story ( http://3rdsidestory.blogspot.com/ ) :)

Okay. I got a fan chicken a while ago but I forgot to post it up, so here we go!

My issues with this chicken are as follows: Firstly. The image is WAY too big. It makes it hard to get a grasp of the whole picture. The wattle is a bit too off the face and attached to the beak rather than the face.(An easy mistake to make) The body is too large and doesn't peak off sharply enough.

But well.... you got passion Louie. And I can hardly expect someone's first attempt to be aces.

And as far as a punk chicken. I hadn't... though I did make a couple chicken punks.

As for advice. Facebook's lame. I almost never told a soul I knew about the site and almost all my traffic comes from the link posted on the extremely popular Hyperbole and a Half, which you should stop being one of the 10-bajillion rip-offs of. Though I suppose it would be more fitting to say that Hyperbole launched a whole genre of blogs, but regardless you'll never stand out unless you do it on your own. Which based on your latest turtle drawing... I don't know where I'm going with all of this. I have no idea how Allie found my site to begin with... I started to ramble about things...

My advice is to make a niche for yourself. There ain't nothin' like this site! And that is the only reason that I garner any interest at all. Also being totally awesome.

Simple One

In this piece I tried to abandon the style I have developed over there past years, but unfortunately I wasn't able to do it entirely. After all you can never reach endless heights if you're sitting on a shaky foundation.

So this chicken is simpler than anything I've done recently, but I am laying the groundwork to improve my style.

In other news I started on the second issue of HERO, finally.

2011: Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone. As last year fades away let us look forward to the future with rose-tinted glasses. Blind hope is always for the best as far as I say. At least until you get too jaded.  I look forward to another good year with all of you as my site enters its third calendar year.

This year's resolution is... Hmm... Uh... I'm not that great at resolutions. I got one. I resolve to make this site more awesome.
