Off The Cliff

 Of course we all know that chickens can't fly, but who would expect to be betrayed from the top of a cliff.

Traditional Christmas End (2025)

I usually try to get a few posts up for Christmas, but unfortunately this year we'll be starting with the most traditional end of Christmas, the Christmas Fowl cutting through the red sky of dusk on his golden star.

If you're confused I've been doing these for more than a decade and that's really on you. Here's the original.

Gift Wrapped

The Holiday season is already firmly here, so enjoy these lovely gift wrapped birds. I was actually going for a lightly embossed texture, but it reminded me too much of gift wrap when I was done so... Merry Christmas?

Scratched Out – November 2025 Wallpaper

Instead of scratching away something that has managed to come together in a fit of rage you should let the messy thoughts guide something new. This piece started with the wild scratching and the rest of the wallpaper was built around it. Letting everything fade and blend we achieve a lovely chicken.

Since this was for last month it's a bit late, but as always, thank you for your support.

Earth Tone

Green and Brown are earthy colors, and I did a little whistled music note. 

This green and this brown I'm not sure actually are earth tones though. One is too blue and the other too yellow.

Woah

Woah man. This could be anything at all, but I think it's a chicken reaching out from the other side, echoing from the tender meal I enjoyed the day before.

Invisible

The chicken is in what isn't, not what is. Consider this your important zen koan of the day. Probably about making due with a vegetarian meal?

Turkey Stab

Today one bird would be roasted, and with a quick stab in the back the chicken escaped that fate.

Just Jump

You can't stand still. When opportunity knocks you what are you going to do? I might just ignore them? You though. You should just jump at it.

Unsure

I'm not really sure what I'm doing with this site anymore? Once upon a time any dumb thing I thought about doing on the internet just got a coat of ChickenMaker.net, but I have other accounts and projects so it falls into the background sometimes. 

If you're a fan, don't worry. I still like this site and it isn't going away. This is my sandbox and I'm still posting, even if I haven't had any big project on here in a couple years. I feel like it's probably time to pick something new and actually commit to it.

So this is just a quick update and an announcement that I'm going to get something new started on here soon. Even if I haven't actually decided what that is yet.

These boots are made for walking, but they are objectively not made for a chicken. They must be horribly uncomfortable with bird feet.

You gotta do it for that yeehaw style though.

Just a dark bird on a hill in the middle of the night. Nothing you can do when the mysterious hill lights start surrounding you. They're just a Halloween miracle maybe?

Look at your reflection in the reflection of your reflection. Which one is real? Well, there are a lot of ways to answer that, but "Ceci n'est pas une poulet" as they say.

They thought it would all be settled with a single shot. Blood splattered out behind the chicken, but the shot was too high. A waddle destroyed would only leave the bird serial killer more vicious than ever before.

Machine guns and kung fu combine into an unstoppable force.

Cop

As the strange light shined down the buff bird raised a talon, probably going for their gun, because this chicken is a cop.
 

Black Orange

It's the spookiest month of the year, so let's get into our festive colors.

Orange isn't really spooky. I think it's just more Fall. Leaves and Pumpkins and such. We combine it with night for the Halloween Season though.

Big Brim

When it comes to a witch with a hat with a big brim... I suppose you just don't actually get to see her face at all. What if she's a real cutie though?

Blurred

The strange light in the darkness was fuzzy and hard to make out. The blurred figure didn't become more clear, but simply more present. Closer and larger. 

Titled Hat

Just a lone chicken wandering in the desert, tilting his hat and giving you a thank ya' ma'am. Quickly moving on before you notice he's just about the right size for a dinner.

Mosaic Tiles

Okay, we've done enough blue. Back to our regularly scheduled weird rectangles of various colors.

I mean normal birds.

Triple Blue

You start with just one blue, but you can always get another two. 

Sky Line

It's sky blue and has a line so obviously this is what skyline means.

Spiral

Even through it's confusing and it just seems to keep going it's important to remember that a spiral isn't a loop. Whether we're going down the drain or ascending to the heavens I really have no idea what's going on.
 

Blue Nights – August 2025 Wallpaper

Continuing the mood we've been in for the past week or so today's piece is Blue. Aren't most nights basically blue? Or is that just local light pollution? Either way it's a beautiful night. I'll see you all next time.

These colors can't even be contained.

Bright Day

None of that low saturation nonsense. 

Full color. Full Brightness. It's a bright day for us all.

Breath Attack

Despite developing a rather concerning neon green complexion and growing to nearly three times its original size the bird still couldn't release a radioactive breath attack. Despite its best efforts science had failed.

Glow – July 2025 Wallpaper

For this month's wallpaper we're returning to one of the classics, the duality of red and blue. Hot and Cold. Passion and Calculation. Of course this site is purple because it's all a careful balancing act.

We have strong linework and a pleasant glow so slap this one on your computer. It will look great beside your browser icon and the shady 3rd party copy of MS Paint I assume you have installed.

Climbing, striving to reach the peak with nothing in sight. Intense focus, relying on whatever tricks and dark deals you were forced to make along the way. A single slip and you'll fall, never able to climb again. This isn't a metaphor for anything. I just like dark mysterious cursed towers. Classic fantasy setting.

Time travel is blue in my mind and I'm not quite sure why... Definitely translucent floating clocks though. That part is objective.

Struck By A Thought

Carefully consider your options. None of the ones you think you have matter. It's all going to come down to the poorly conceived notion you get at the last moment.

Anyways, do you think I can do a house of cards shaped like a chicken or would it need too much glue?

Construction Wizard

The construction wizard consulted his blue scroll, but honestly couldn't make heads or tails of these so called skyscrapers. Shouldn't they be something reasonable, like a Chicken Coup or an ominous Tower?
